  • PARKING AT THE TERMINAL
Security regulations prohibit any vehicle from being left unattended within 300 feet of the terminal building. This applies to the front entrances of the terminal on both the arrival and departure levels. Any vehicle left unattended will be ticketed and towed. Additionally, visitors are not allowed to park and wait in thier vehicles for arriving passengers in front of the terminal building. If your party has not arrived when you get to the terminal you can: •Park free for one (1) hour in the hourly parking garage. This allows you to park and come inside the terminal to drop off or greet passengers. •Wait in your car until your passenger calls you in one of the airport's two cell-phone waiting areas. These waiting areas are located just across the street from the shuttle parking lot and by the flag plaza just to the north of the shuttle. Please make sure that your passenger is ready to be picked up when they call so that you are not parking in the pick-up zones in front of the terminal. This will congest traffic and you risk being ticketed. For long-term parking options and pricing ...

To locate your ticket counter and departure gate, check out the terminal map located on this site under Airport Guide...

  • 10 TRAVEL TIPS TO KEEP YOUR TRIP ON TRACK
You been waiting all winter to take this summer vacation. You and a lot of other folks. Airlines are predicting a very busy summer season. Below are ten tips that will help you keep your trip on track! 1. Allow Plenty of Time. Airline and TSA personnel have noticed a significant increase in passengers not allowing enough time prior to their departure. As a result, people are missing their flights. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport one and half (1 ½) hours prior to departure. This will allow time to park, check in and pass through the checkpoint. Also remember that most airlines now require that passengers and bags be checked in 30-45 minutes prior to departure. If you are not checked in by that time your seat can be given away. 2. Pack Smart. When packing for your trip, think about what items you can carry with you and what items need to be in your checked baggage. • The 3-1-1 rule still applies for liquids and gels carried through the security screening checkpoint. This means that any liquid, gel or aerosol must be in a 3-ounce bottle or less, contained in one clear zip-top bag, and one bag per passenger that is placed in a screening bin. • Do not over-pack and try to keep suitcases as uncluttered as possible. • Do not to wrap presents before traveling; if a screener cannot determine what the item is or if it needs additional inspection, the gift will have to be unwrapped. • Be sure to check about carrying special sports equipment like fishing poles, scuba gear or hunting guns. A complete list of acceptable and prohibited items and how to transport them is available at ...
