Ancestor White Seaform Set with Lava Black Lip Wraps is displayed in the central concourse across from Gate 18. The sculpture is on loan to WRWA from the permanent collection of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art.
This renowned artist has spent four decades creating glass sculptures and installations that provoke awe and delight with their technical achievements, fanciful colors, and unique forms. His work has been exhibited and collected by major museums all over the world. A native of Tacoma, Washington, Chihuly’s Seaform series reflects the influence of his native Pacific Northwest Coast.
