Embark (405-235-7433), the City of Oklahoma City's regularly-scheduled public bus system, currently does not serve the airport.
Embark Plus Paratransit Service is an extended service of the City of Oklahoma City's public bus system and is available to travelers who meet ADA eligibility requirements. There is an application process for the service. Applications must be received no less than 7 days prior to arrival at the airport. Jefferson Bus Line (1-800-451-5333, www.jeffersonlines.com) provides civilian bus service to Chickasha, Lawton, Wichita Falls and Ft. Worth, Texas. Buses depart daily from the east end of the transportation plaza which is accessed from baggage claim Level 1. The schedule changes from time to time, but usually departs around noon/early afternoon. It is recommended that you call Jefferson Bus Line, Greyhound Bus Station, or check the website, to confirm departure time. Passengers without tickets should plan to pay the driver with cash. Military personnel receive a 10% discount. The bus originates in Kansas City, MO and stops in Tulsa before arriving in OKC. There is a daily return route to airport arriving around 10:00 a.m. and continuing to Tulsa and Kansas City.
Red Carpet (405-672-5100 or 888-878-5100) provides transportation for recruits to the Ft. Sill Reception Center and departs Monday through Friday at 6:30 PM, 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM. Upon their arrival at the airport, recruits should report the YMCA Military Welcome Center (405-680-9781) located in Bay O of the Air Cargo Building outside the side door next to Bag Claim 1. Recruits who have missed the last bus should telephone 1-888-435-7146 option 1 for instructions.
Soldier Express Bus (580-678-3035) transports AIT personnel to and from Ft. Sill for training and leave. Always call Soldier Express to check their availability.
Village Tours (405-741-8463) provides tranportation for large groups from military base to military base and may provide transportaton from the airport from time to time.
