WRWA Weather Update
May 2, 2018
At approximately 6:50 p.m. Wednesday evening Will Rogers World Airport evacuated the terminal building due to a severe weather warning with tornado potential. During that time all arrivals and departures were suspended. Once the threat had passed, the terminal was reopened at 8:00 p.m.
At this time, terminal operations have resumed but flights are still impacted due to the storms that still remain in the area. Three flights have been cancelled and several are delayed numerous hours. Passengers should check with their airlines for updates. Additional cancellations are possible this evening and in the morning.
No damage has been reported at the airport.
