Ross Clayton is a Country singer from Chicago, IL. But don't let his Yankee roots fool you, he is a Country Music singer, born and bred. Ross' music is a bittersweet blend of modern Americana Country and old-school twang. Drawing his inspiration from a wide variety of artists like Zac Brown Band, George Strait, Bob Seger, Justin Townes Earle, and Ray LaMontagne. The list goes on in a number of different directions, from Western Swing to underground Hip-Hop. He doesn't limit his interests to one genre or style of music.

Ross began his singing career in High School, as Orin Scrivello in the Musical 'Little Shop of Horrors'. In college, he and a group of friends started performing locally under the name Buckshot Trio. They wrote and recorded a number of original songs and had a modest, but loyal fan base in the Monmouth/Galesburg, IL. area. Following graduation from Monmouth College, he moved back to Chicago in 2012, where he decided to continue to pursue his singing career and formed The Ross Clayton Band and releasing the song "Hell raiser & Heartbreaker".

After two years of playing the Chicago bars and music festivals, Ross made the move the Oklahoma City to continue his music career, and start a family. He formed the Ross Clayton Band with his good friend Stephen Sheffield, and quickly became the most talked about country band in OKC. For the last 3 years, the Ross Clayton Band has been touring around Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. Playing clubs, festivals, Dance Halls, etc. Ross recently signed with Nashville based music label and publishing company, Big Palm Entertainment, LLC, and released his new single “Turn Up Again”!
