Will Rogers World Airport Launches New Website

OKLAHOMA CITY, August 22, 2017 – Flyokc.com, the official website of Will Rogers World Airport, revealed a brand new look with the launch of its new site.  The site makes key information, such as flight status and parking rates, easily searchable with just a few key words.  New features such as “Route Mapper” lets users easily see different route options to various cities. 

The goals of the new site included improved content and easier navigation.  Now, users just type a word or phrase for a quick, easy search.  Overall navigation has also been simplified and de-cluttered. 

The airport contracted with Funnel Design Group of Oklahoma City for development of the architecture, design and implementation of the site.

“Users will appreciate the new look and feel of the site as well as the easy navigation,” says Karen Carney, public information and marketing manager. “The designers did a great job marrying functionality and design.”

Bryan Ellison, chief visionary officer for Funnel, oversaw the design and implementation.  “As a key website for Oklahoma City’s commercial airport, it was time to bring updated technologies like responsive development, a smart search feature and allowing it to be used on all browsers and mobile devices,” said Ellison.

The new site allows for future modifications and content to be added like business opportunities at the airport and Lariat Landing.
